JOHN L. HUNTER: (Founder) 65-years field experience in construction.  Apprentice Carpentry Local Union 225, Atlanta, Georgia, Smith-Hughes Vocational School, E. O. Smith-Field Construction, Beers Construction, J. A. Jones Construction, Henry C. Beck Construction, Massell Construction, Attholt Construction Company.  Retired after 52 years of dedicated service.  The company was founded in 1965 as a Sole Proprietorship.

J. KENT HUNTER: (President / General Manager) 1978 to Present: 40-years construction experience in General Contracting.  Experience includes Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimating and General Management.Kennesaw College - Business Administration, Southern Tech, Civil Engineering Technology, Successfully completed Safety Competency Course.Certificate earned from Associated General Contractors.  LEED 2.2 Accredited Professional Training Certificate of Completion earned from South Face Energy Institute and the Continuing Education AIA through the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.  Ongoing construction education courses, various training services through a partnership with the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia (CEFGA) and Associated General Contractors (AGC).  Current responsibilities consist of Project Estimates and the general management of day-to-day operations of John L. Hunter Construction Company, Inc.

LARRY HUNTER: (Vice President) 1982 to present:  36-years’ experience in carpentry, concrete construction, and tenant finish, residential and commercial construction.  Kennesaw College – Business Administration.  Current responsibilities include on-site job supervision, equipment operations, and maintenance.

 

JEFF HUNTER: (Vice President of Field Operations) 1979 to present:  39-years’ experience in concrete form work, carpentry, building layout, project supervision and equipment operations.  Current responsibilities include on-site job supervision, equipment operations, and maintenance.

 

LESLIE HUNTER: (Superintendent) 1980 to present:  38-years’ experience in carpentry, concrete construction, general layout, field engineering.  Kennesaw College - Business Administration, and Southern Tech - Civil Engineering Technology.  Current responsibilities include on-site job supervision, equipment operations, and maintenance.

LUKE T. HUNTER: (Lead Project Manager) 2008 to Present: 12 Years of Construction experience primarily on Healthcare, Multi-Family and Commercial Retail projects. Luke acquired his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management at Southern Polytechnic State University and holds certifications for ASHE-Healthcare Construction, OSHA 30 Hour and NEPDS Level 1A (Blue Card). Luke manages the day-to-day operations of the project from its inception through occupancy and closeout. His responsibilities include the tracking cost and quality control. As well as executing subcontract negotiations, change order management and establishing and maintaining the project schedule. Luke will also be primarily responsible for ensuring that the project conforms to the standards of the local building codes and the projects desired level of LEED certification.

KLINT HUNTER: (Assistant Superintendent) 2004 to present:  20-years’ experience in layout, concrete forming, carpentry and assistant supervision.  Chattahoochee Technical College – Associate in Business Management.  Current Erosion Control Blue Card.  OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Card.  Current responsibilities include on-site job supervision, equipment operations, and maintenance.

NICK HUNTER: (Assistant Superintendent/ Field Foreman) 2013 to Present: 5-years' experience in layout, slab prep, equipment operations, equipment maintenance & carpentry.  Chattahoochee Technical College – Diesel Equipment Tech.  Current Erosion Control Blue Card.   OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Card.  Current responsibilities include assistant superintendent and managing the field labor.

JENNIFER HITE: (Comptroller) 2014 to Present:  18-years’ experience in Accounting and Financial/Business Management.  Current responsibilities include all aspects of Accounting, Taxes, Financial Statements, General Ledger, Job Cost, Business Management, Project Owner Contract Management, Subcontractor Contract Management, Insurance Administration and Assistant to the Founder and President.
